New Jersey Lions District 16-J

Lions Clubs International is world’s largest humanitarian organization catering to local needs. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.

Lions and Leos from Union, Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, and Mercer counties form District 16-J. Over 1400 Lions from 58 clubs join Leos from 18 clubs serve Central New Jersey. With a motto “We Serve”, Lions and Leos support several local causes including our global service areas such as eradicating preventable blindness, protecting the environment, relieving the hunger, diabetes awareness, and support to victims of childhood cancer. Lions and Leos believe that Kindness Matters. That is why Where there is a need, there is a Lion or a Leo.
